Many fundraisers believe that stewardship begins when a donor has made a gift.  Not a good idea.

  • Description

Many fundraisers believe that stewardship begins when a donor has made a gift.

Not a good idea.

For lower level donors, that is advisable and effective.  But, for donors who are making larger commitments, stewardship should be considered during the steps leading up to and included in the solicitation – not after the gift.

This webinar will explore various strategies and approaches to solicitations that take into account what will occur after the commitment is made by the donor.  Doing so will result in more meaningful and deeper relationships with donors leading to additional support as well as avoid nightmare situations when the expectations of the donors are not met by your organization.
